Moses Silbiger has a Masters Degree in Integral Psychology at John F. Kennedy University (California), with a Certification in Life Coaching.
He also has a bachelors degree in architecture (1992) and a strong background in computer graphic design (print, web, CAD, 3D), creative direction & project management.
Moses hasworked for the architectural, entertainment, and advertising industry for more than 14 years. In 1997, he founded the company 3D2go!Inc. which later became Integral Look design (graphic.web.3D) - www.integrallook.com.
He recently concluded a one year and a half project working for ALiveware Inc. in the aliveworld.com web 2.0 portal, a groundbreaking online community based platform geared to e-learning, personal growth and development (e-change), to be launched in the end of 2008.
This combination of multi-disciplinary interests and skills established the core foundation for an ongoing exploration of current and alternative methods of integrating Psychology and Coaching into a broader and deeper cross-disciplinary framework, which has been explored through his Integral Eye Coaching & Consulting services -www.integraleye.com.
Moses is also a member of ACM Siggraph - Association for Computing Machinery and IGDA - International Game Developers Association.
Moses has been involved with the subjects of psychology and human development for more than 18 years, in both theoretical and practical ways. His background in these areas comes from a long and deep yearning and passion for subjects related to self-knowledge, human development and inner transformation, which he has pursued through different scientific and psychological paths and orientations, both from Western and Eastern traditions.
In conjunction with his academic studies, Moses carries forward an Integral Life Practice into all aspects of his life, coaching and consulting practices, working simultaneously with body, mind, heart, ,'shadows' and spirit.
Moses is honorably grateful to various friends, teachers, guides, scientists, philosophers, coaches, masters and traditions for contributing which much of what he has learned in terms of personal growth and human development. This continuous learning and practice has helped him to bring an unfolding sense of presence, care, empathy, objectivity, wisdom and listening skills to the core of his coaching and consulting practices.
Besides his life coaching and consulting practice, Moses has been exploring a mixed methods research about the potentials of using video games for education related to human development, integration and transformation.
This approach is based on the practical applications of Integral Theory & Psychology (Wilber, 2007, 2000), Developmental Psychology (Kegan 1994; Cook-Greuter, 2005; Maslow, 1973), and Integral Play (Gwen Gordon and Sean Esbjorn-Hargens, 2007), grounded in multi-disciplinary research from contemporary philosophers, developmental researchers and play theorists. It involves the application of 6 different methodologies aimed to explore the main topic from various integrative and complementary perspectives.
Moses envisions video games being used by all kinds of educators, coaches and leaders, potentially facilitating individual and collective human potentials to naturally unfold in the most significant, massive and effective ways.
Since his graduation in June 2008, Moses has already been invited to present his work in three academic conferences:
TheIntegral Theory Conference (JFK University & Integral Institute, 2008) with an honorable mention on Integral Research; the Games + Learning + Society 4.0Conference (University of Wisconsin-Madison, 2008); and the Meaningful Play Conference (Michigan State University, 2008).
Besides having articles published at the JFK University newsletter (Sumer, 2008) and being the US Press & Marketing representative for the Digital Designer Magazine (articles on July & October 2008), he has participated in the AQAL Journal conference call with the writer and philosopher Ken Wilber (February 2008), and more recently to an interview on the renowned & avant-garde Integral Naked website (August 2008); among various ongoing and upcoming projects.
With the support of many mentors, guides, teachers, family, wife, friends, partners and colleagues, Moses intends be a vehicle for the manifestation of a new, proactive, and popular generation of developmental (and playful!!!) video games.
As of August 2008, Moses has been involved in the process of writing his first video game script and also an upcoming book on the subject of developmental video games, assembling the various insights and ideas gathered during his academic research and ongoing explorations.
At the moment, Moses is looking for investors & partners interested in exploring these emergent developmental potentials through novel, creative, and potentially r-evolutionary (and popular) video game applications - bringing the concept of interactive entertainment to the self-improvement & holistic wellness industries.
